Why we built this

Singapore's HDB system is well-designed but genuinely complex — eligibility schemes, grant stacking rules, MOP restrictions, TDSR/MSR caps, and a resale process with its own vocabulary (COV, OTP, HFE letter). Most people only go through it once or twice in their life, which means most people are learning it from scratch under time pressure.

HDBnow.com is our attempt to lay all of that out plainly, backed by real data where it matters — particularly our Resale Transactions tool, which shows actual block-by-block prices rather than headline averages.

How we keep this accurate

Content is researched from official sources: HDB, the CPF Board, IRAS and MAS. Rates, grant quantums and eligibility criteria are reviewed periodically since they change — where we're not fully certain a specific figure is current, we say so and point you to the official source rather than guessing.

What we're not

We're not a property agency and we don't earn commission on transactions. We built the calculators, guides and transaction data because we wanted them to exist in one place — if they're useful to you, that's the whole point.
